When we left the truck armed with only 1 change of clothes, a toothbrush, towel and pretty much nothing else, we prayed that God would guide us to people who would look after us. He has definitely answered our prayers. On the 1st night we got a decent place right by a hospital and baxter [...]

So here’s the deal…we crossed into Cameroon yesterday but then discovered the truck would not be able to pass that road. But with only 1 entry on our Nigeria visa, we couldn’t go back. To get a Nigeria visa would cost £90 and we would then need another Cameroon visa to get back in…another £70. [...]

Cameroon here we come! We didn’t quite make it to the border last night. With the ferry looking to charge us $4000 we decided to take our chances overland.
